Anthropic disclosed nearly $900 billion in future obligations for computing infrastructure, buildings and power. The commitments far exceed the liabilities currently recorded on its balance sheet.

Anthropic disclosed nearly $900 billion in future obligations for servers, buildings and power in its IPO filing, according to Bloomberg Tax. The filing reports $117.5 billion in liabilities and $112 billion in cash on the balance sheet.

Many of the commitments do not yet appear on the balance sheet. They include an estimated $265.6 billion in purchase agreements, largely for cloud hosting and infrastructure, plus $321 billion in leases that have not started.

The filing also identifies $245 billion in additional computing arrangements and $21 billion in short term agreements. Some costs remain uncertain because prices for GPUs, electricity and fuel can change. Anthropic plans to pay for the investments by growing revenue and raising capital, according to the filing. "Investing in compute is a prerequisite for long-term growth," the company said in the document.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
