Crosby Bids for Weil Gotshal Assets
Crosby, an AI focused law firm, has bid for assets from Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, including its trademark, brand and some internal data, according to TechCrunch. The terms were not disclosed, and Crosby is separately working to recruit some of Weil Gotshal's 1,200 lawyers.
Weil Gotshal is preparing to vote on dissolving the firm in the coming days. The planned wind down follows departures by several leading lawyers and the end of merger discussions with Willkie Farr & Gallagher.
Crosby provides legal services through its own lawyers and internally developed AI tools. The two year old firm has raised about $85 million, including a $60 million Series B round in March 2026 led by Lux and Index, with Sequoia also participating.

Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
