TBellScout Acquires Flawless AI Dubbing Technology

Oct 30, 2026
TBellScout acquired Flawless's TrueSync dubbing technology and DeepEditor tool after the company's UK business entered administration.

TBellScout acquired TrueSync and DeepEditor from Flawless, according to Deadline. The sale followed Flawless Holdings Limited's filing for administration in the UK earlier this month.

Insolvency specialist BTG took control of the UK business and sold the technology to TBellScout. UK technology lender Sprk Capital appointed BTG as administrator. TBellScout is owned by Elastic founder Steven Schuurman, who confirmed the acquisition.

Flawless raised $100 million from individual investors to build its film technology. TrueSync, its SAG-AFTRA-endorsed AI dubbing technology, was named one of Time's Best Inventions, while DeepEditor changes dialogue and performances without reshoots by syncing actors' mouths to new lines.

The tools have been used on films including Watch the Skies and Fall. Flawless AI Inc., the US business controlled by cofounders Scott Mann and Nick Lynes, remains separate from the UK company that entered administration.
