Viabot Raises $24 Million for Outdoor Property Care Robots

Viabot raised a $24 million Series A led by Walden International, the company said in a press release. CDIB Capital Group, Stalwart Ventures and existing investors also participated, bringing Viabot's total funding to $43 million.

The company will use the funding to expand its sales and engineering teams, develop its products and improve its robotics as a service offering and Viabot One platform. Viabot One currently services 25 million square feet of commercial property and uses intelligence trained on more than 5 billion square feet of real world multimodal data.

The platform autonomously sweeps and removes trash and debris up to 10 inches in size. It also supports loitering detection and asset monitoring, swaps tools and batteries, and can operate for 12 to 24 hours. Cameras, lidar, depth sensors, DGPS and dynamic path planning help it navigate routes, adapt to changing conditions and return to its docking station.
