Velvoite Launches AI Compliance Copilot for EU Financial Regulation
Finland-based Velvoite has launched an AI-powered compliance copilot designed to help EU financial institutions keep up with regulatory requirements. The platform continuously monitors seven official regulatory sources, classifies documents by regulation family and entity type, and extracts compliance obligations with article references and deadlines.
The system covers 17 regulation families including DORA, MiCA, MiFID II, AML/CFT, Solvency II, CSRD, and the AI Act. It currently tracks more than 3,400 regulatory documents and has extracted over 18,000 compliance obligations. Each AI-generated summary is paired with the original legal text and a direct link to the official source.
Recent updates include multi-jurisdiction support for Finnish and German regulations, automatic scoping per company, and integration with the Model Context Protocol (MCP), allowing Premium users to query the full regulatory corpus through AI assistants such as Claude. The platform also indexes and cross-references court decisions from the Court of Justice of the European Union and the Finnish Supreme Administrative Court.
Velvoite’s tool is available at app.velvoite.eu, offering a free demo for financial institutions including banks, payment firms, crypto-asset service providers, insurance companies, and fund managers operating under EU regulation.
