Clarivate Integrates Regulatory Intelligence with Claude AI

Clarivate has integrated its Cortellis Regulatory Intelligence with Anthropic's Claude AI using the Model Context Protocol, enabling life sciences organizations to access authoritative regulatory data directly within AI workflows.

Clarivate has integrated its proprietary regulatory intelligence with Claude by Anthropic, announced in a press release. The collaboration connects Clarivate’s Cortellis Regulatory Intelligence (CRI) data with Claude’s AI reasoning capabilities through the open Model Context Protocol (MCP).

The integration enables biopharma, biotech, medtech, and clinical research organizations to access authoritative regulatory data directly within their existing AI workflows. By embedding CRI content into Claude, users can obtain accurate, referenced answers that support regulatory decision-making.

The CRI MCP provides regulatory affairs and life sciences teams with context-aware access to validated sources, combining internal data and approved external content. The integration builds on Clarivate’s recent launch of its CRI AI Assistant and extends its regulatory intelligence into AI environments used across the life sciences sector.

The new connection is available to customers of both Clarivate CRI and Claude, allowing them to build AI agents that merge regulatory intelligence with internal systems to monitor changes and support compliance workflows.
