Pluvo has secured $5 million in seed funding led by Andreessen Horowitz’s a16z speedrun to expand its AI-driven financial analysis platform for CFOs and finance teams.

Pluvo has raised $5 million in seed funding to develop its AI-powered financial decision platform and expand its market presence, announced in a press release. The funding round includes participation from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z)’s a16z speedrun program, Deel, The Perseverance Fund, StandUp Ventures, and AltaIR Capital, alongside strategic angel investors.

The Ottawa- and San Francisco-based company builds AI systems that help CFOs and finance teams move from data to decisions faster. Pluvo’s platform uses agentic AI orchestration to analyze financial models, evaluate forecasts, and assess scenarios in real time, producing structured insights within minutes.

Pluvo plans to use the new capital to enhance its agentic analysis engine, scale its engineering and product teams, and deepen integrations across ERP, CRM, HRIS, and billing systems. The company’s technology offers continuous variance analysis, multi-scenario planning, and explainable, computation-backed insights for finance leaders.

Founded through programs such as Alchemist Accelerator and a16z speedrun, Pluvo has attracted growth-stage and mid-market clients, including CFOs who also participated as investors in this round.
