Scout AI Raises $100 Million Series A to Advance Fury Military AI Model
Scout AI has raised $100 million in a Series A funding round to accelerate development of Fury, its foundation model for unmanned warfare, announced in a press release. The round, described as the largest defense technology Series A in U.S. history, was co-led by Align Ventures and Draper Associates, with participation from Booz Allen Ventures, Decisive Point, and several other investors.
Founded in 2024 and based in Silicon Valley, Scout AI develops AI systems that translate commander intent into coordinated actions for autonomous systems across air, land, sea, and space. Fury serves as the company's core model, enabling orchestration of unmanned fleets in tactical environments.
The company reported $11 million in contracts with the Department of War in its first year and demonstrated a fully autonomous strike mission executed by AI agents. Scout AI employs a team of 34 specialists in AI, robotics, and national security and plans to use the new funding to expand Fury’s multi-agent collaboration and deployment capabilities.
