NCS Analytics Makes Thea Lending Platform Available Separately

July 31, 2026
NCS Analytics has made NCS Thea available separately for lenders serving licensed cannabis businesses. The platform uses regulator reported operational data and predictive analytics to produce lending scores and borrower profiles.

NCS Analytics has made NCS Thea available as a separate lending intelligence platform for banks, credit unions, private lenders, credit funds, and other capital providers serving licensed cannabis businesses, the company said in a press release.

NCS Thea was launched in April 2026 as part of the NCS Platform, but lenders can now use it without subscribing to the full compliance suite. The platform combines data that cannabis businesses must report to state regulators with behavioral and predictive analytics.

The platform generates a composite lending score and operational profile for prescreening, underwriting, and portfolio monitoring. It is designed to help lenders validate borrower financial information, identify anomalies, monitor operational changes, and assess lending risk across a loan portfolio.

NCS Thea analyzes factors including operational performance, compliance trends, inventory management, sales activity, business relationships, and financial indicators.
