Lantronix and DoD Solution Begin Production of Edge AI Drone Platform for Ukraine

Lantronix and DoD Solution have completed integration of DoD Solution's AURA AI autonomy platform with Lantronix's Open-Q 6490CS edge compute solution, with initial production now underway for drone systems used in Ukraine.

Lantronix has announced a collaboration with DoD Solution to deploy an Edge AI drone platform in Ukraine.

The project combines DoD Solution's AURA AI onboard autonomy platform with Lantronix's Qualcomm based Open-Q 6490CS Solution. Lantronix is providing edge compute hardware for integration into AURA AI.

The platform is intended to support FPV drones, fixed wing UAVs, and interceptor systems used in Ukraine. Engineering teams have completed the platform integration, and initial production is now underway.
