Skyfall AI Emerges from Stealth to Build the Autonomous Enterprise
Skyfall AI has emerged from stealth with funding from Fidelity Management & Research Company, Inovia Capital, Touring Capital, M13, NextView Ventures, and Garage Capital. The San Francisco and Toronto based neolab was founded by the team behind Maluuba, the deep learning company acquired by Microsoft in 2017. Skyfall’s focus is to create systems for what it calls the first autonomous enterprise.
The company is developing Enterprise World Models that aim to simulate how organizations operate and make decisions over time. These models seek to move beyond text generation, instead forecasting future business states through recursive simulations that integrate financial, operational, and strategic data. Its first product, called Morpheus, is a continual reinforcement learning platform designed to model complex, evolving systems.
Skyfall plans to acquire a small SaaS business for up to 1 million dollars as a practical test of its AI systems. The goal is to determine if an artificial intelligence system can operate a digital business with minimal human involvement. The experiment will target doubling revenue within six months of acquisition, with humans mainly handling legal and regulatory processes.
The founding team includes CEO Sam Pasupalak, CTO Kaheer Suleman, and CPO Sumit Pasupalak. The lab has assembled a 25 person research team with experience from Microsoft AI, the University of Toronto, and leading Canadian AI institutions. Further product releases are expected, including tools designed to help automate business operations for executives and entrepreneurs.
