U.S. Army is expanding its evaluation of the Hunter WOLF unmanned ground vehicle through a Transition in Contact event with the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Polk, Louisiana, on August 20, 2026, BLADE announced in a press release.

The vehicle is made by HDT Robotics, LLC, operating as BLADE. Hunter WOLF is a robotic ground vehicle designed for logistics and casualty evacuation missions, with payload capacity of up to 2,800 pounds.

The evaluation will give soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division practical experience with the system. The vehicle is intended to carry equipment, supplies, and personnel during field operations.

BLADE said the event follows earlier Hunter WOLF training and evaluation activities with the 3rd Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, and the 101st Airborne Division.
