Uforce and Reconcraft Partner to Produce Autonomous Maritime Drones in the U.S.

Uforce has signed a memorandum of understanding with RECONCRAFT to produce autonomous surface vessels in the United States, according to a press release. The agreement was formalized during a ceremony hosted by the Embassy of Ukraine in Washington, D.C.

Through this collaboration, Uforce USA and Reconcraft plan to manufacture combat-tested maritime drones as part of the Arsenal of Freedom program. The MAGURA family of surface vessels, developed by Uforce, is noted for its record in active combat, including the reported destruction of multiple Russian naval assets in the Black Sea.

The initiative will be led by Sean Plankey, CEO of Uforce USA, who previously served as Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Homeland Security. Uforce will provide its suite of autonomous technologies spanning aerial, maritime, and ground platforms, as well as its autonomy software and command-and-control systems.

Reconcraft, known for building craft used by U.S. and partner special operations forces, will contribute its domestic manufacturing capacity to adapt Uforce's Ukrainian-designed systems for American use. The companies state that the partnership aims to deliver proven capabilities to U.S. forces more rapidly than developing new systems from the ground up.
