DoD Solution Raises $2.1 Million for Autonomous Drone AI

DoD Solution raised $2.1 million to expand its AURA AI platform, which lets drones navigate and track targets when GPS or communications are unavailable.
DoD Solution, a Ukrainian and Estonian defense technology company, raised $2.1 million in a preseed funding round, Inventure reports. The company will use the funding to develop and expand its AURA AI platform for autonomous unmanned systems.
AURA AI combines an onboard computer with operating system software. It provides autonomous navigation, environmental perception, target detection and tracking, and terminal guidance when GPS or communications are unavailable.
The platform can be integrated into FPV drones, interceptor drones, and fixed wing aircraft. Investors in the round included Angel One Fund, Better Angle, Defence Builder Fund, Network VC, Newfund, UAID Fund, WildField Ventures, 4 °C-Next Holding AG, and Canadian drone company Draganfly.
