Tripo AI Raises 3 Billion Yuan and Previews Tripo P2.0

Tripo AI raised approximately 3 billion yuan across Series B and Series B+ rounds and previewed Tripo P2.0, a 3D native foundation model that supports quad topology.

Tripo AI said in a press release it raised approximately 3 billion yuan across its Series B and Series B+ financing rounds and previewed Tripo P2.0, its latest 3D native foundation model.

The round was led by MPCi, with strategic and industry investors including Perfect World, BlueFocus, SPC, Yanqu Games, ThunderSoft, and 37 Interactive Entertainment. Financial investors included CDH Venture and Growth Capital, CICC, CMC Capital Partners, Hongtai Aplus, 3H Health, Zhongping Capital, and GreatOrigin Asia.

Tripo said P2.0 supports quad topology and can generate 3D objects in seconds. The model is an upgrade from Tripo P1.0 and is designed for higher quality 3D assets in production workflows.

The company said the funding will support work on 3D foundation models, 3D data infrastructure, computing infrastructure for training and inference, product development, and commercialization.
