Slamcore Raises $14 Million to Expand Visual AI for Industrial Fleets
Slamcore has raised $14 million in new funding from investors including ROKStar Ventures, a subsidiary of Rockwell Automation, announced in a press release. The new round brings Slamcore's total funding to $40 million, with participation from Toyota Ventures, Interwoven Ventures, MMC Ventures, Amadeus Capital Partners, and IP Group.
Slamcore develops spatial intelligence software that uses stereo cameras and proprietary visual AI to track vehicles in industrial environments without the need for GPS, beacons, or floor markers. Its Slamcore Aware product provides facility-wide visibility of vehicle locations, while Slamcore Alert monitors driver behavior and proximity to pedestrians and structures.
The company’s technology is currently deployed across more than 30 facilities in Europe and North America. According to Slamcore, its systems improve safety and fleet efficiency without requiring infrastructure changes, helping operations managers reduce idle time and investigate incidents more quickly.
The funding will support the continued rollout of Slamcore’s visual AI solutions across factories and warehouses, expanding its dataset of real-world operational information used to train future physical AI models.
