Riverside Research and Tera AI Partner on GPS Denied Mapping

Riverside Research and Tera AI have partnered to bring Tera AI's DeepSLAM mapping technology into Riverside Research offerings for national security customers.

Riverside Research and Tera AI have partnered to provide mapping technology for air and surface systems operating without GPS, the companies announced in a press release. The partnership will integrate Tera AI's DeepSLAM technology into Riverside Research offerings for national security customers.

DeepSLAM uses single passive cameras to create 3D maps of unknown areas. The system is designed for conditions where GPS signals are jammed, spoofed, or unavailable, and supports visual navigation and mapping in real time.

Riverside Research said the work focuses on reducing data gaps for safety products and intelligence missions. The companies said the technology can support autonomous systems in contested or disrupted environments across air and surface domains.
