Signia brings MaX AI hearing aid to US government health programs
Signia is making its previously launched Pure Charge&Go MaX AI hearing aid available through the US Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense and Indian Health Service, the company said in a press release.
The hearing aid uses four deep neural networks to process speech, background noise, surrounding environments and the wearer's voice. The networks work together to adjust audio during group conversations with overlapping speakers and changing noise.
Pure Charge&Go MaX has a rechargeable receiver in canal design. Its portable charger stores up to four full charges, while a 30 minute charge provides up to six hours of use. It supports Bluetooth Classic, LE Audio, Telecoil and Auracast connectivity, with full Auracast support due through a firmware update by March 2027.
Signia is also offering Active Mini IX through the three government programs. The rechargeable hearing aid uses the company's Integrated Xperience platform and supports fittings on the same day.
