Scout AI and Hendrick Motorsports Technical Solutions have partnered to develop NOMAD, a next-generation unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) powered by Scout's Fury autonomy system.

Scout AI Inc. and Hendrick Motorsports Technical Solutions have announced a partnership to develop NOMAD, a next-generation unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) powered by Scout's Fury autonomy system. Announced in a press release, NOMAD is designed for light tactical ground missions and features Scout's second-generation Fury hardware stack, which is over 90% smaller and more power-efficient than previous versions.

The NOMAD UGV is equipped with a low-signature, passive-sensing system that allows it to operate autonomously beyond line of sight and follow human teammates from a safe distance. It integrates a wide range of payloads, making it adaptable for various mission environments. This collaboration highlights the versatility of the Fury system across multiple domains, including ground, air, sea, and space.

Hendrick Motorsports brings its expertise in high-performance automotive design and engineering to the project, aiming to enhance the capabilities and safety of servicemembers on the battlefield. The NOMAD program represents a significant step in defense innovation, leveraging the strengths of both organizations to deliver advanced autonomous solutions.
