Rocket One Names Dr. Supriyo Bandyopadhyay Lead Technical Advisor for AI Nanomagnetic Technology

Rocket One Inc. has appointed Dr. Supriyo Bandyopadhyay as Lead Technical Advisor to guide the development of its AI nanomagnetic chip technology for space and defense applications.

Rocket One Inc. announced in a press release the appointment of Dr. Supriyo Bandyopadhyay as Lead Technical Advisor of AI Nanomagnetic Technology. Dr. Bandyopadhyay will oversee the technical development of the company’s nanomagnetic AI chip technology, which is designed for computing and memory hardware used in space and defense systems.

Dr. Bandyopadhyay is a Commonwealth Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Virginia Commonwealth University and an expert in nanomagnetics and spintronics. His scientific work forms part of the foundation for Rocket One’s licensed nanomagnetic matrix multiplier architecture.

According to the company, his appointment strengthens the technical connection between Rocket One’s platform and the academic research behind its design. Rocket One is developing infrastructure for the orbital economy, including radiation-tolerant, energy-efficient AI hardware for low Earth orbit and deep space platforms.
