Moonshot AI is expanding into Singapore, according to Reuters, with a new sales role posted on LinkedIn this week. The listing seeks candidates with experience in sales, venture capital, consulting, product or engineering.

The role will focus on turning early customer wins into revenue, partnerships and a broader market presence. The Beijing-based startup did not immediately respond to Reuters' request for comment on its Singapore plans.

Moonshot AI incorporated a Singapore business entity in July 2023. Registry records show the entity was renamed Novascent in June 2026. The startup released its Kimi K3 model in July, which it said is the world's largest open-weight AI system, and counts Tencent, Meituan and China Mobile among its backers.
