Pentera Adds AI Native Web App Testing to Security Platform
Pentera announced in a press release that it has added AI native web application testing to its autonomous security validation platform. The capability is built to test web applications in production within customer set scope and guardrails, while keeping an audit trail.
The system uses AI attack agents to perform reconnaissance, test application logic, choose payloads, and validate exploitable risk. Pentera said the testing can cover business logic flaws, access control issues, authenticated application areas, SSO, MFA, OAuth, and attack chains across web application weaknesses.
Findings include exploit evidence and remediation guidance for developers. The capability is available in beta for selected customers, with general availability planned for Q4 2026.
Pentera plans to demonstrate the feature at Black Hat USA 2026 at booth #1652 on August 5 and 6.
