Cyfendo Offers AI Code Scanning and Patch Review for Small Businesses
Cyfendo says in a press release that its AI application security platform is now available to help developers find vulnerabilities, investigate whether they can be exploited and prepare fixes for review. The company was founded by Bryan Vuong, a former engineering leader at Google and Meta.
Developers can connect GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket repositories, upload project files or use the platform from a command line. Cyfendo traces untrusted data through source code, runs isolated exploitability checks where supported, prepares patches and retests findings. Developers decide whether to accept changes, and the platform does not merge patches into production software.
A free plan includes protection for up to 10,000 lines of code and five scans per month. Paid subscriptions start at $99 per month and add automated patch generation and higher scanning limits. Cyfendo also offers a separate application penetration testing service in private beta.
