McKay Brothers and Relativity Networks Plan Hollow Core Fiber Network in New Jersey
McKay Brothers and Relativity Networks announced in a press release a partnership to build hollow core fiber networks for financial services and compute infrastructure. The initial network will connect financial market venues and data center projects in New Jersey, with expansion into other markets planned.
McKay Brothers purchased Relativity Networks' ChronoCore anti resonant hollow core fiber for the deployment. The network will include branches connecting data centers near financial corridors where customers are building AI inference and training infrastructure.
McKay Brothers will offer long term indefeasible rights of use on dedicated fiber pairs, along with connectivity services ranging from 10 Gbps to 400 Gbps. Relativity Networks says ChronoCore carries data about 47 percent faster than conventional glass fiber and requires fewer intermediate regeneration components.
