Omnia Training Wins £2 Billion Contract for British Army Training System

Omnia Training, led by Raytheon UK, has been awarded a £2 billion contract by the UK Ministry of Defence to deliver the British Army's Collective Training Service under a 15-year agreement.

Omnia Training has been awarded a £2 billion contract by the UK Ministry of Defence to serve as the British Army's Strategic Training Partner and deliver the Army's Collective Training Service. This was announced in a press release.

The consortium, led by Raytheon UK and including Capita, Cervus, Rheinmetall UK and Skyral, will deliver a 15-year agreement that provides soldiers with an integrated and digitally enabled collective training system. The initiative combines virtual, synthetic and data-based environments to upgrade traditional live exercises, allowing for improved preparation for complex missions.

The contract will generate 270 new jobs and sustain an additional 150 positions as part of the programme’s rollout.
