LGNDX Gets U.S. Air Force Contract for Defense Acquisition Platform
LGNDX announced in a press release that it received a U.S. Air Force Small Business Innovation Research Phase III contract to deploy Innovation Exchange, also called IX.MIL. The platform is designed to help defense organizations discover, evaluate, fund, and move emerging technologies into operational use.
The company said the effort moved directly from SBIR Phase I to Phase III. IX.MIL is being developed with the Department of the Air Force Digital Transformation Office and the Department of Defense's Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office.
The platform is intended to connect government requirements, technology providers, acquisition pathways, and strategic partners in one acquisition process.
