Cellebrite Launches Tactical Extraction Kit for Military Field Forensics

Cellebrite announced in a press release the launch of the Cellebrite Tactical Extraction Kit, or C-TEK, a mobile digital forensics kit packaged in a standard sized backpack. The company said the kit is built for military teams to access and analyze devices at the point of capture.

C-TEK includes rugged hardware and Cellebrite software for extracting and reviewing data from phones, SIM cards, drones, computers, and portable storage devices. It is designed for units operating without network access and can be deployed across a team rather than used only by a trained analyst.

Cellebrite said C-TEK is the first part of a broader field intelligence product effort for defense and intelligence customers. Planned additions include a portable version of its Pathfinder analytics platform, a local AI capability, an enhanced CFID V4 for drone forensics, and a mobile kit for short term digital forensics deployments without existing local infrastructure.
