Notta Secures $6.3M to Expand AI Voice Services in the US
Notta has raised $6.3 million to accelerate its expansion into the US market, aiming to challenge established voice transcription services such as Otter.ai. The funding round, led by GL Ventures and Mizuho Leaguer Investments, brings Notta's total investment to over $16 million. The company plans to leverage its dual hardware-SaaS model, which has already seen significant adoption in Japan, including by 68% of Nikkei 225 companies.
Notta's strategy involves using its $149 Notta Memo AI Voice Recorder as a tool to acquire customers for its higher-margin SaaS subscriptions. This approach not only generates immediate revenue but also reduces customer acquisition costs by minimizing reliance on digital marketing. The company aims to disrupt the $47.7 billion voice recognition market by integrating hardware and software solutions, offering comprehensive security certifications to access regulated industries such as healthcare and legal services.
The new funding will support Notta's aggressive US market expansion, focusing on sales and marketing operations, as well as enhancing platform infrastructure to accommodate a projected 100,000 US monthly users by the end of 2025. With a strong foundation in Japan and a unique dual-revenue model, Notta is poised to capture significant market share in the expanding enterprise AI market.
