NetDragon Websoft Holdings Limited plans to invest in the decentralized, AI-driven education ecosystem Open Quest Academy (Open-Q) and will receive Q101 utility tokens in return, announced in a press release.

Open-Q debuted at UNESCO’s Digital Learning Week in Paris, attracting participation from education officials and experts from over 30 countries. The platform focuses on metaverse-based learning and teaching, emphasizing technology for equity, co-creation of resources, and incentive-driven participation.

The initiative aligns with UNESCO’s goals of promoting global education equity by offering open, adaptable learning resources that meet local curriculum needs. Open-Q’s decentralized model supports shared governance and rewards learners and educators through a “Learn-and-Earn” framework.

NetDragon has been active in online education since the early 2010s, developing AI-powered content and national-level education platforms. The company’s recent “AI + Education” strategy leverages its AI Content Factory to produce AIGC educational materials efficiently, positioning it for strategic collaboration with Open-Q.
