Microsoft Tests Copilot for Gaming on Xbox Mobile App
Microsoft has started testing its new Copilot for Gaming feature in the Xbox app for iOS and Android devices, announced in a press release. This beta version allows users to interact with the assistant to get information about games, receive recommendations, and inquire about their Xbox activity, such as play history and achievements.
The Copilot for Gaming feature is designed to function as a second screen, providing assistance without interrupting gameplay. Users can ask questions like, "What's my gamer score?" or "Can you recommend a game similar to horror movies?" The assistant uses player activity data and public information from Bing to provide responses.
Currently, the beta is available in English for players aged 18 and older in select regions, including the USA, Australia, and Japan. Microsoft plans to expand the availability of Copilot for Gaming to additional regions in the future.
