Legion Security Secures $30 Million Series A for AI SOC Platform
Cybersecurity startup Legion Security has raised $30 million in a Series A funding round led by Coatue, with participation from Accel and Picture Capital. This funding follows an earlier $8 million Seed round, bringing the company's total funding to $38 million.
Founded in 2024, Legion Security is developing a browser-native AI Security Operations Center (SOC) platform. The platform uses artificial intelligence to observe and learn from security analysts' workflows, converting these into scalable automated processes. This approach aims to alleviate the burden of alert fatigue and staffing shortages that have long challenged SOC teams.
The funding will be used to accelerate product development and expand the platform's adoption across various sectors, including finance, energy, and healthcare. Legion's technology integrates directly into existing tools without the need for complex integrations, promising to reduce investigation and response times by up to 90%.
Legion Security's leadership team includes CEO Ely Abramovitch, VP of R&D Michael Gladishev, and CTO Eyal Fisher, who bring extensive experience from previous roles at Microsoft and Cambridge AI research. Their platform is designed to enhance security operations by automating threat investigations and allowing security teams to focus on more critical tasks.
