Hexnode Introduces Synapse for IT and Security Operations

Sep 15, 2026
Hexnode Synapse coordinates device, identity, and threat workflows across enterprise tools, with approval gates and execution records for sensitive actions.

Hexnode introduced Synapse in a press release at HexCon26 on September 15, 2026. The agentic orchestration layer coordinates requests, alerts, approvals, and system actions across IT and security tools.

Synapse initially includes agents for device management, identity tasks, and threat response. These agents can handle diagnostics, compliance fixes, patching, access requests, account changes, alert triage, investigations, and containment. Organizations can also configure custom agents with their own tools and knowledge sources.

Administrators can define guardrails and require named approvers for device wipes, endpoint isolation, and privileged access changes. An Execution Centre records triggers, agent decisions, approvals, and completed actions. Initial integrations include ServiceNow, Zendesk, Microsoft Entra ID, BambooHR, Hexnode UEM, Hexnode XDR, and Hexnode IdP.

Hexnode plans to open Synapse to an invite only trial later in 2026.
