Zip Security Joins CrowdStrike Coalition to Protect Small Businesses
Zip Security joins CrowdStrike's Project QuiltWorks coalition to extend AI risk protection to small and midsized businesses, the company announced in a press release. The service targets organizations without a chief information security officer or dedicated security team.
CrowdStrike launched Project QuiltWorks in April 2026 and expanded it to small and midsized businesses worldwide in August. The initiative combines vulnerability discovery and risk prioritization with remediation services, AWS cloud infrastructure, cyber insurance, and security service providers. Models from OpenAI and Anthropic support its vulnerability discovery capabilities.
Zip Security will address vulnerabilities identified through Project QuiltWorks within the security programs it manages for customers. Its platform defines security requirements, configures tools and controls, provides continuous monitoring with experts available around the clock, and produces compliance evidence. Zip also operates a network of virtual chief information security officers who use the platform for client security programs.
