Factory raised $200 million in a financing round that values the AI coding startup at $5 billion, Dow Jones reports. The valuation is more than triple the $1.5 billion figure from its $150 million funding round in April, and Factory has now raised more than $400 million in total.

Investors in the latest round included Blackstone, Khosla Ventures, Sequoia Capital, and Insight Partners. Angel investors included Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, Brad Gerstner, and Nico Rosberg.

Factory provides AI coding agents that write code, fix bugs, test software, and maintain existing systems. The company lists Nvidia, Blackstone, Palo Alto Networks, and Adobe among its customers.
