IUNU has secured $20 million in funding to accelerate the growth of its AI-driven greenhouse technology, as announced in a press release. The funding round was led by S2G Investments, with participation from Farm Credit Canada and Lewis and Clark Partners.

The investment will support the expansion of IUNU's LUNA platform, which integrates machine vision, automation, and AI to enhance greenhouse operations. The platform offers plant-level visibility, automated labor analysis, and real-time crop steering for high-value vine crops such as tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers. This funding will also aid in expanding IUNU's commercial and engineering teams.

Operating in over 100 facilities across 18 countries, the LUNA platform aims to improve precision yield forecasting, automate labor quality management, and provide dynamic crop steering. The company reports significant growth in its vine-crop segment, driven by the need for actionable insights in greenhouse agriculture.
