Medallion Secures $43 Million to Launch Credentialing Clearinghouse

August 18, 2025
Medallion has raised $43 million to enhance its AI infrastructure and launch CredAlliance, a national credentialing clearinghouse, according to a press release by Medallion.

Medallion has raised $43 million to expand its AI-powered platform and launch CredAlliance, the first national credentialing clearinghouse, announced in a press release. The funding round was led by Acrew Capital, with participation from Washington Harbour Partners and other investors.

CredAlliance aims to streamline the credentialing process by verifying providers once and sharing the results across participating payer networks. This approach is expected to reduce the duplicative efforts that cost the healthcare system an estimated $1.2 billion annually. The platform is already operational with several major national payers and is powered by Medallion's AI and automation engine, which enables real-time verification and reduces onboarding timelines.

The new capital will also be used to expand Medallion's AI platform to automate various workflows and to grow its market presence across health systems, provider groups, and plans. Medallion's platform currently supports approximately 1 million providers, helping healthcare organizations save significant administrative time and resources.
