MEDITECH and Lifemed AI Partner on Claims Automation

MEDITECH and Lifemed AI are partnering to offer revenue cycle automation to hospitals and health systems using MEDITECH. Lifemed AI announced the agreement in a press release and joined the MEDITECH Alliance program as an Accelerator level member.

Lifemed AI's DeepClaim platform uses a non generative deep learning neural network to review claims at the line item level before submission. It applies payer specific rules, fixes identified problems, flags remaining issues for human review, and automates appeals and resubmissions when claims are denied.

The partnership also covers Gateway, Lifemed AI's patient access and registration platform. Gateway connects with MEDITECH to automate eligibility verification, insurance discovery and patient intake. The companies said integration will be available to health systems at no cost.
