Vancouver-based AI startup UnlockLand has been selected to participate in Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 Future Built Assets Program, aiming to transform the Kingdom's real estate sector.

UnlockLand, a Vancouver-based AI startup, has been selected to join Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 Future Built Assets Program. This initiative marks a significant step for Canadian AI innovation on the global stage, as UnlockLand is one of only ten international startups chosen to collaborate with Saudi Arabia's National Technology Development Program and Real Estate General Authority.

UnlockLand's AI platform offers real-time zoning analysis and generative site design, which can significantly reduce housing project timelines. The company will work with the Ministry of Housing and Real Estate Development Fund in Saudi Arabia to pilot AI-driven permit automation, supporting the Kingdom's goal of delivering 1.5 million new homes by 2030.

This partnership aligns with Canada's AI strategy, which emphasizes responsible AI diplomacy. UnlockLand continues to support Canadian housing initiatives by working with municipal governments across British Columbia and Ontario to streamline development approvals. The company has also secured backing from strategic investors, including Silicon Valley's Sinovel and Saudi Arabia's NTDP.

UnlockLand's involvement in the Vision 2030 program positions it to compete for additional contracts in the Middle East, potentially establishing Canada as a global hub for responsible AI-powered urban development solutions.
