Itential and Selector Software have announced a strategic partnership to deliver AI-driven, closed-loop automation for network and infrastructure operations, as stated in a press release. This collaboration aims to integrate AI-powered observability with automated remediation, enabling real-time, closed-loop network operations for enterprise and service provider infrastructure teams.

The integration of the Itential Platform with the Selector AIOps Platform bridges a critical operational gap by turning insights into instant action. Selector's real-time event detection and root cause identification capabilities are combined with Itential's policy-driven orchestration and automated remediation. This allows teams to automatically detect, diagnose, and resolve issues across hybrid environments without manual intervention.

The partnership addresses the challenges faced by modern infrastructure teams, such as growing complexity and a flood of noisy alerts. By applying machine learning to correlate anomalies across telemetry, logs, and events, Selector identifies the root cause of incidents. Itential then executes automated workflows to resolve these issues, update inventory, and close tickets, maintaining full auditability and policy alignment.

The joint solution empowers infrastructure and operations teams to move faster and respond smarter, enabling AI-driven, fully automated, closed-loop workflows across various use cases, including automated port resets, compliance remediation, and service degradation resolution. This partnership aims to reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR), eliminate manual escalations, and enhance operational confidence.
