IFS Launches Intelligence for Industrial Operations

IFS announced in a press release the launch of IFS Intelligence, a product that connects data from assets, systems and processes across industrial operations. The software uses live data from IFS and third party systems to answer questions, recommend actions and perform approved work under company rules and permissions.

IFS Intelligence includes three main components. Cowork provides a conversational interface for investigating operational data and preparing actions for human approval. Loops lets teams assign defined workflows to digital workers, while Runway uses plain language requirements to support the migration, configuration and extension of IFS software.

The product can connect with services including Microsoft 365 through the Model Context Protocol. IFS Intelligence is available now through a universal enterprise wide license that covers eligible IFS software licensed by the customer, with an included allowance for AI executions.
