IBS Software and AWS Partner on AI-First Airline Retail Platform

November 04, 2025
IBS Software has announced a multi-year collaboration with Amazon Web Services to modernize airline retailing systems through a new AI-first platform called iRetail, designed to unify and automate the Offer–Order–Settle–Deliver value chain.

IBS Software announced in a press release a multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to modernize airline retailing systems. The partnership introduces iRetail, an AI-first, modular, and cloud-native platform built to support the full Offer–Order–Settle–Deliver (OOSD) process for airlines.

iRetail was co-engineered by IBS Software and AWS to integrate AI across all retailing functions. The platform enables airlines to create real-time personalized offers, manage autonomous product-agnostic orders, and automate settlement and service delivery. It is designed to evolve continuously with traveler behavior, helping airlines streamline operations and improve personalization.

Under the agreement, IBS Software will deploy and scale iRetail globally using AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability for mission-critical airline operations. AWS will provide technical support, architectural guidance, and resources to accelerate the platform’s development and scalability. The companies aim to establish iRetail as a standard for AI-driven airline retail modernization.
