The collaboration will focus on creating targeted, governable AI tools aligned with enterprise workflows. Uniphore’s Business AI Cloud will serve as the foundation for building and fine-tuning SLMs, while Cognizant will lead solution development, deployment, and client delivery.

The companies plan to co-develop initial solutions for the Life Sciences and Banking and Capital Markets industries. Each offering will combine a domain-specific SLM with prebuilt AI agents designed to support key industry processes. The partnership aims to help enterprises codify institutional knowledge and deploy AI systems that meet regulatory and operational requirements.

The model is designed for global scalability in environments that demand high standards of accuracy, privacy, and governance.
