IFS to Support SkyAlyne in Royal Canadian Air Force Training Program
IFS has been selected by SkyAlyne to provide a digital aviation maintenance and asset management platform for the Royal Canadian Air Force’s Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) program, announced in a press release.
The collaboration will see SkyAlyne implement IFS Cloud for Aviation Maintenance to support aircraft readiness, streamline maintenance operations, and ensure maximum fleet availability across Canada’s new aircrew training system. The platform will provide real-time visibility into maintenance activities, compliance tracking, and resource management.
Awarded to SkyAlyne in 2024, the FAcT program is a 25-year initiative to modernize pilot and aircrew training for the Royal Canadian Air Force. It includes new training aircraft, digital technologies, and updated learning methodologies across multiple bases. The program’s fleet includes Grob G 120TP, Pilatus PC-21, Airbus H135, Beechcraft King Air 260, and De Havilland Canada Dash 8-400 aircraft.
By using IFS Cloud’s integrated maintenance and operational insights, SkyAlyne aims to reduce downtime and improve training readiness for Canada’s next generation of aircrew.
