IBM Opens Global RFP for AI Solutions in Education and Workforce Development
IBM announced in a press release a global request for proposals (RFP) for the next cohort of its Impact Accelerator program, focusing on AI solutions for education and workforce development. The initiative invites nonprofits, government organizations, and academic institutions to collaborate on projects that enhance learning, support career transitions, and connect people with job opportunities.
Selected participants will receive a two-year pro bono technology and implementation grant, which includes access to IBM offerings such as watsonx, Granite AI models, IBM Cloud, IBM Quantum, and Red Hat open-source technologies. They will also benefit from support by IBM’s ecosystem of researchers, designers, and consultants.
The program aims to address the growing mismatch between educational outcomes and workforce needs as AI rapidly transforms industries. Eligible applicants must be able to work with IBM over a two-year period and submit proposals by March 25, 2026.
The cohort will also include participation from EY, which will collaborate with IBM to advance AI-powered tools that strengthen education-to-employment pathways. The RFP builds on IBM’s ongoing effort to support organizations developing technology-driven solutions for economic and social resilience.
