Microsoft announced in a press release a new initiative called Microsoft Elevate for Educators, designed to support teachers and schools with AI-powered tools and training. The program provides access to professional development resources, global educator communities, and industry-recognized credentials at no additional cost.
Elevate for Educators integrates responsible AI tools within Microsoft 365 Copilot, helping educators and students prepare for AI-driven learning environments. The program aims to connect educators worldwide through one of the largest peer networks and strengthen their ability to use AI effectively in classrooms.
Available globally, the program includes new communities for K-12 educators, free professional development opportunities, and resources to help schools integrate AI into their teaching practices. It forms part of Microsoft’s broader Elevate initiative to expand access to AI education and career pathways ahead of Bett UK 2026.
