Adam Kronk from the University of Notre Dame will deliver the opening keynote at the 2026 Internet2 Community Exchange in Chicago, focusing on AI integration and institutional strategy in higher education.

In a press release, Internet2 announced that Adam Kronk, director of research and external engagement at University of Notre Dame's Institute for Ethics and the Common Good, will deliver the opening keynote at the 2026 Internet2 Community Exchange (CommEX26). The event will take place April 13–16 in Chicago.

Kronk’s address, titled “The DELTA Strategy: Navigating the Next Decade of Digital Transformation and AI,” is scheduled for April 14. It will cover challenges facing research and higher education leaders, including artificial intelligence integration, workforce changes, federal funding uncertainty, and institutional accountability.

Drawing from a five-year initiative on human flourishing in the age of AI, Kronk will present the DELTA framework—dignity, embodiment, love, transcendence, and agency—as a guide for decision-making in academic institutions. The framework aims to help leaders manage rapid innovation while maintaining academic integrity and resilience.

CommEX26 will gather IT leaders and decision-makers from research and education organizations to discuss AI innovation, cybersecurity, sustainable IT funding, and collaboration for the next decade of digital transformation.
