Kroll Launches APEX for Cyber AI Investment Planning

August 31, 2026
Kroll introduced APEX, a capability built on the CrowdStrike Falcon platform to help organizations estimate cost, effort, and value for AI and automation cyber projects.

Kroll announced in a press release the launch of Kroll AI Automation Prioritization EXecution, or APEX, a capability built on the CrowdStrike Falcon platform. The tool is designed to help organizations compare AI, automation, and hybrid approaches for cyber use cases based on estimated operational effort, cost, and business value.

APEX uses Charlotte AI AgentWorks and Falcon Foundry to support a structured assessment before engineering work begins. The process reviews a client's cyber environment, priorities, financial inputs, and operational data, then ranks opportunities and estimates implementation effort and expected returns.

Results are shown in a dashboard inside Falcon. The capability can be used for a single strategic assessment or as part of an ongoing advisory engagement, with priorities updated as the organization changes.
