Harness Adds Agent Security Integration for Google Cloud Apigee
Harness has integrated its agentic security capabilities with Google Cloud's Apigee API management platform, the company announced in a press release. The integration is designed to help Apigee customers discover, monitor, and protect AI agents, AI services, tools, and MCP workflows that pass through the API control layer.
The integration adds Harness AI Security intelligence to Apigee. It can inventory AI assets, MCP servers, tools, prompts, and resources, while also mapping how agents and AI assets connect across an organization.
Harness said the integration includes an AI Firewall for runtime policy enforcement against suspicious agent communication, prompt injection, tool misuse, and data exfiltration through agent chains. It also includes AgentTrace, which provides an audit trail across prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and outputs.
The Harness and Apigee integration is generally available now for joint customers.
