Guesty Acquires Smily and Plans AI Rollout in France

Guesty acquired French vacation rental software provider Smily and plans to introduce its AI capabilities and Agent Hub to Smily customers. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Guesty completed its acquisition of Smily, a French property management system and channel manager for vacation rentals, the company said in a press release. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Guesty and Smily will combine product, engineering and customer support resources to build services for the French market. Guesty will also introduce its AI capabilities and Agent Hub to Smily customers.

Smily provides channel management, centralized communications, direct booking websites, payments and task management. The company says it has processed more than €3.3 billion in bookings for 13 million travelers. All five Smily founders and several shareholders are reinvesting part of the acquisition proceeds in Guesty equity.
