GMI Cloud Reports Eightfold ARR Growth and Expands AI Infrastructure Globally

GMI Cloud announced in a press release that it secured eight times its 2025 contracted annual recurring revenue by mid-2026, reaching more than 500 million dollars in signed commitments. The company said live ARR grew by 2.4 times in the first half of the year as demand for large scale AI compute continues to rise.

The announcement stated that GMI Cloud has expanded its data center presence from the United States into Taiwan and Thailand, with additional facilities under development across the Asia Pacific region. It has also launched a sovereign AI infrastructure initiative in Japan, beginning with a 200 megawatt deployment planned for 2028.

The company reported that its inference business increased thirty four times in a four week period and now processes about 2.5 trillion tokens each week. This growth positions GMI Cloud among the top three token providers on OpenRouter, serving AI laboratories and companies in the United States and Asia Pacific.

GMI Cloud's infrastructure and inference services support customers such as Fireworks, Higgsfield, Trend Micro, Wistron, and Utopai Studios. The company said the expanding footprint aims to meet accelerating global demand for production scale AI workloads.
